First, 'He is most worthy of praise' (1-9). The LORD our God is most worthy of praise. We are to sing, praise, proclaim, declare, ascribe and worship him for who he is and what he has done: he made the heavens; splendor, majesty, strength, glory describe, surround and are ascribed to him. As we come to his sanctuary, into his courts, we are to bring an offering, and to tremble before him. This trembling is the deep reality of reverence before the Lord of all the earth. Second, 'He will judge with equity' (10-13). God's judgment brings justice, equity and righteousness. This is our hope in a corrupt and wicked world. The Lord is coming and he will restore all creation. His judgment brings great joy to the world, that is groaning in these days under the power and effect of sin (Ro 8:18-25). So all creation is in eager anticipation of his coming. Come Lord Jesus!
Application: Father, I worship you for who you are and what you have done. Come and restore the world.
One Word: Declare his glory among the nations
