1. David's mighty warriors (10-25)
During David’s difficult life as a fugitive, fleeing from Saul, he shepherded a band of men. These men became his committed friends, and mighty warriors who fought the Lord’s battles with him. Some of them even risked their lives to give David a drink of water. David respected their sacrifice and love too much to drink it. We all have and need mighty warriors as a strong support in our Christian lives. These people fight with us, not against us, as we fight the good fight of faith in Jesus.
2. David pours it out before the Lord (26-47)
At least 47 more mighty warriors are listed here. Are you thankful for the mighty warriors in your life? Can you list even 5 or 10 of them? Let’s thank God for these mighty warriors. Let’s also be a strong support for our fellow Christian brothers and sisters
Application: Lord, thank you for the mighty warriors of Christ around me whom I can fight with, not against, to glorify you.
One Word: Mighty warriors are a strong support
