1. Remembering God's grace (1-3)
The Psalmist remembers how God restored the fortunes of his repentant people--perhaps by bringing them back from captivity. I must remember the basic grace of God's forgiveness in my life.
2. Revive us again (4-7)
The Psalmist pleads for God's grace and mercy to
be shown once more. God grants his salvation because he loves us. We are revived when we taste his unfailing love. Joy in God is real joy.
3. I will listen to what the Lord says (8-13)
God gives peace to those who repent. He saves those who fear him, so that his glory may dwell in the land. God's love and faithfulness meet in Jesus. In him, righteousness and peace kiss each other. God's righteousness and peace belong to those who are in Christ. We must show his love and faithfulness to others.
Application: Lord, clothe me in your righteousness and give me your peace so that my life may reflect your faithfulness and love.
One Word: Repent and taste God's peace
